About this Item: Nova Science Publishers Inc, United States, 2016. This survey was a voluntary cross-sectional population survey which provides information on food and nutrient intakes, daily diary on intake of food over one week, and nutrition-related clinical measures of Palestinians on a nationally representative sample of 3620 Palestinians living in selected households and aged 18 -64 years. The survey data were collected in the homes of respondents and included: a first and second 24 hour diet recalls; a daily diary on intake of foods over one week that included questions on food preparation habits; physical measurements including weight, height, hip to waist ratio; and blood pressure. It is conducted every four years in order to track multi-year trends. The survey data were collected in the homes of respondents and included: a first and second 24 hour diet recalls; a daily diary on intake of foods over one week that included questions on food preparation habits; physical measurements including weight, height, hip to waist ratio; and blood pressure. Efforts to 'save' the Dead Sea have been globalised through the Red Sea-Dead Sea Canal feasibility study process facilitated by the World Bank. There is little to indicate that an intensification of trans-Mediterranean regional dynamics is taking place. The combination of the dietary intake research and the nutritional status assessment analyses provided an excellent, and possibly the first, example of the complimentary value of having data on both nutrient intakes and biochemical markers of status. The dietary data are important for estimating the prevalence of inadequate intakes of specific nutrients, and for identifying potential fortification vehicles e. The promise of robust official environmental cooperation is still unfulfilled. In addition, issues that did not receive sufficient or any attention in the first phase were discussed in the second phase. The biochemical data were necessary to confirm the prevalence of most deficiencies predicted from the food intake data. He is author and coauthor of many books and publications. Formal peacemaking has yet to be successful.
